Megan and Patrick had a stunning Mt. Falcon engagement session to celebrate their upcoming wedding. Mt. Falcon was the perfect mountain location for this adorable couple. They had a gorgeous Colorado day with the most amazing golden light as the sun dipped down behind the mountains. Aren’t these two super cute together! I hardly had to pose them, they were just so adorable.
Mt. Falcon Engagement – Megan + Patrick
Patrick and Megan actually reached out to me about engagement photos about two years ago. We started planning their session and talking about their wedding, but then they told me they were putting their engagement on hold. I completely get it that planning a wedding is like taking an unpaid job with a splash of stress lol. Many times I don’t get a follow up story but in this case, I was so elated that the planning was back on and that I was still their top choice 🙂 Sometimes, it’s really important to just take a step back and take your time. Megan and Patrick took some time to focus on other life events for a while until they were truly ready to get married!
Just to make their lives more interesting, they will also be living long distance for a while. We rushed to plan this session so that we could get their photos before Patrick moved to the east coast for school. I’m so glad I was able to squeeze them in. Now Patrick has photos to remember the beautiful Rocky Mountains when he’s out east. And they both have photos together to help them through the rough nights without each other nearby. I’ll be traveling to Carbondale for their wedding day in 2019 and I just know it’s going to be an emotional, beautiful day. Can’t wait!
