Cozy Colorado Wedding at Craftwood Inn

Taryn and Adam first met in high school. They hardly knew each other but about a month before graduation, Adam asked Taryn to prom. He had never even spoken to her before! She said yes to being Adam’s prom date and later, she said yes to being his wife! That’s when they started planning their cozy Colorado wedding! But first, they got to know each other, started dating, and fell love.

They continued dating after high school and spent two and a half years dating long distance while they were in college. Eventually, they got sick of being so far apart so Taryn transferred schools to be closer to Adam. After they graduated from college, they both started working at The Club at Flying Horse. One night, Adam took Taryn to the steakhouse there, where they had a lovely dinner and went for a walk around the beautiful grounds. When they got to a path with a gorgeous view, Adam got down on one knee and proposed!

My associate photographer, Jamie photographed their classic, summer wedding. Taryn put so much love into planning their wedding. She had a lot of personal touches throughout the day and made sure everything represented them as a couple. She described them both as quiet and a bit private but very expressive when they are with each other. Isn’t it incredible when you find that one person you can be silly and weird and totally yourself around? That’s what these two have in each other! They had a small, cozy wedding with their closest friends and family. They chose the Craftwood Inn as their wedding venue because it had a gorgeous outdoor area for their ceremony and a cozy indoor space for their reception.
