Urban Denver Wedding – Megan + Ben

Ben and Megan are a laidback, no fuss couple. All they wanted for their big day was to relax with the people they cared about and to make sure everyone had a great time! They described their style as comfortable and laid back and the wanted their urban Denver wedding details to be simple, with clean lines and pops of color. Their perfect urban denver wedding venue for them was at Studios at Overland Crossing. Everything looked amazing! I got so many details shots because I was just in love with it all!

Megan and Ben’s Urban Denver Wedding

Megan and Ben met online and went on their first date at Amato’s Ale House in the Highlands. After many bad first dates, they were both so relieved that they hit it off right away. They both loved the Rockies, loved Denver, and came from big families. They had a lot in common and bonded instantly. That date ended up being their last first date ever! As the two got closer and more serious, Ben knew it was time to propose. He took Megan on a trip to Mexico for her birthday and on the last day they were there, he asked her to be his wife! We had an amazing engagement session around downtown Denver last year. It was so much fun exploring the city with them, from the murals in RiNo to Coors Field to Union Station!

This wedding was also a family affair. On their first date, Ben and Megan bonded quickly over their big families. On their wedding day, they wanted to make sure everyone was included. Megan’s family was a part of the wedding as more than just guests. Lauren Ripko, who runs the event planning company Quintessential Events, designed and coordinated the wedding and made all the floral arrangements too. Isn’t she so talented! And Patrick Ripko officiated the ceremony. It was a real tear jerker!

Right now, these two are just getting back from their honeymoon in Grenada! I am so glad I got to be a part of this incredible day. Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Nuss!
