Ted proposed on Christmas Eve at their favorite sushi restaurant. He got down on his knee for everyone to see just like in the movies. Her dream had come true. He had been her man since high school, when she would let him cheat off her trig papers. I’m sure he doesn’t need trigonometry at least not today. Now today is their Crooked Willow summer wedding day!
Crooked Willow Summer Wedding
Amanda and Ted’s wedding is only a little bit of 4th of July. It has some elements of blue and red decorated around Crooked Willow. In addition, it even has a floral spray on the arbor that looked like an amazing firework chrysanthemum. For this Crooked Willow summer wedding, Amanda’s bridesmaids went with a variety of pink dresses and the men matched perfectly in tan dress pants, suspenders and bow ties. Pops of teal and pink can be seen in the elegant florals and teal mason jars of summer time wildflowers.
Even though this a simple, western barn wedding, their personalities and likes as a couple can be seen throughout. The tables in the reception are all named after their favorite outdoor location spots. They dubbed their wedding, “Amanda and Ted’s Excellent Adventure.” Hopefully you know your 80’s movie references. Their wedding guests favors? Cool sunglasses for a bright, sunny day.
The wedding cake was spectacular as it was a mountain of a cake with an avalanche of icing and two frozen figures in ski attire perched at the top to peer at the gorgeous view of their wedding. At the end of the night we were fortunate to catch an AH-MAZING (seriously amazing) sunset to finalize their perfect day.
