Baby Grace was such a dream to photograph! She wasn’t very sleepy during our session but she made the cutest faces. I even got a little smile out of her! Since this was a local family, I went to their home instead of them coming to my studio. I love that I can do this as a Black Forest newborn photographer. I have a studio that I love but sometimes going to a family’s home for newborn photos makes more sense. It can be a great way to ease the burden off of clients with new babies. I know how stressful everything can be when there’s a newborn in the house. Just getting out the door takes way longer than it used to! With in-home sessions, that’s one less thing to stress about.
When I do in-home Black Forest newborn photography, I only do blanket poses. That means my clients don’t have to clean their homes before I come over. I just need a little floor space cleared out so that I can set everything up. I really mean it. Don’t worry about cleaning up for me! I’m a mom too so I totally get it.
Black Forest Newborn Photographer – Baby Grace
This session was a model call session for some newborn photography items a company sent me. Sometimes when companies create new products, they send them to newborn photographers so we can test them out in exchange for photos. When this happens, I put out a model call so I can plan a session around the new products. It’s really fun to get to be one of the first people to try something new. Plus, model sessions are a great way to try out new techniques and keep my skills sharp. And I get to help out a local family at the same time. This was also one of my last newborn sessions before the pandemic.
