Robyn and Brian’s 25th Anniversary Session is actually an engagement session or a re-engagement session, if you will. As they were coming up on their 25th anniversary, Robyn decided she needed some beautiful photos of the two of them and their family, to celebrate. At the same time, they were planning another wedding, that they had at Flying Horse Club in Colorado Springs. So, they booked me to photograph their wedding and an engagement session! I loved getting to work with this wonderful family. Seeing two people who have been in love for so long, just made my heart sing.
Robyn + Brian’s 25th Anniversary Session
Robyn and Brian have been through so much together. It’s easy to see how strong their love is and how well it’s stood up to the test of time. They have two daughters, Morgan, their oldest, and Ashley, their youngest. Robyn has had two brain tumors and breast cancer and has beaten them all! On top of that, they have been through several deployments. That’s a lot for 25 years!
The family just built their dream home and wanted to fill it with emotional family and couples portraits. We did photos of Brian and Robyn together as well as them with their beautiful daughters and we made sure to get lots of different combinations with everyone. They have a small pond behind their new home and wanted to have a session there. I love when my families and couples have their sessions in a place that they have a connection to. It adds a whole other layer of meaning to the photos and I am sure this family will cherish these even more because of it.
This family has so much to celebrate and I am so glad they decided to that in their own awesome way: with a wedding and engagement session! I am honored to have been able to capture it all.
