Can you believe Constantin is one year old? It feels like just yesterday I shared his newborn photos! If you haven’t seen them yet, you should definitely check them out. We incorporated Native American and Greek influences in the photos because of his mother and father’s heritage. Even at his first session, baby Constantin was smiling. It’s pretty rare to catch a smile in newborn photos but we got a couple from this guy. When he came back for his six month milestone session, we got a lot of smiles. We had to work a bit for it, but he loved mom and dad dancing and jumping around behind my camera. This time around, he was all smiles. He has such a gentle face. Constantin is one happy kid!
Since Constantin’s parents booked a milestone package, they got four sessions within his first year. We started with the maternity session, in the Denver Botanic Gardens. Then we did his newborn session, his six month session, and finally his one year session. This is a great option for new parents or as a baby shower gift. Babies change so much in the first year and it’s really wonderful to be able to celebrate and capture each milestone along the way! Plus, it’s great for me because I get to see my squishy little newborns grow up! It is so fun to watch a baby go from sleepy and squirmy to sitting up and walking, all within a year! And I love getting to capture the maternity session, to see life before and after baby.
One Year Old Constantin
With this session, mom and dad wanted to go outside. We did the newborn and six month sessions in my studio so it was time to change it up a bit. It was the perfect time of year for an outdoor session, with the leaves changing and the perfect sweater weather! Constantin looked so adorable in his yellow thermal and little puffy vest!
Since the session was outside, we couldn’t do a cake smash session, like we normally would with a one year old. Cake smash sessions are super messy and it just wouldn’t be right to leave icing and streamers all over the beautiful park. We got some beautiful photos of cute, little Constantin and a bunch of family photos as well. I love getting the whole family involved in sessions like this. We had some fun one on one time and lots of sweet photos of the three of them together. Happy birthday Constantin!
