Megan and Ben’s urban Denver engagement session was such a fun departure from most of my engagement sessions. A lot of my Colorado clients want trees and meadows and mountains for their engagement sessions. And so many of my weddings take place in the mountains or other natural venues. These sessions and weddings are gorgeous but I’m always super excited to shoot in a fun, colorful, and urban location.
Megan and Ben’s Urban Denver Engagement Session
We got to go to the RiNo arts district for this session! I love the amazing murals in that part of town. Aren’t they so cool? The wall are always changing and getting pained over so if you see some that you just love, you have to get there soon or they might get covered up! They are always amazing, though, so no matter what there will be great murals to look at and have in your photos.
After that, we went to Coors Field because Megan and Ben love going to Rockies games together on dates. Ben wore his Rockies hat for some of the photos we took there. I love incorporating locations and items that are meaningful to my couples. Just for fun, went over to Union Station for some more photos as the sun was setting. And to top it all off, we ended the night with a perfect shot with these two in front of the city lights. Ending a session after the sun has set is so much fun. I love getting to use my lights and having the beautifully lit skyline in the background.
These two are getting married at another amazing urban location, the Studios at Overland Crossing. And their getting married on what might just be the most popular wedding date of the year, 8-18-18. The date is a palindrome! How cool is that!
