I’ve always heard that rain is good luck on your wedding day and I think rain is always good luck for Kayleigh and Jason. Jason proposed to Kayleigh on a carriage ride through Central Park in the rain. Then, it poured buckets on the morning of their Brush Canyon Ranch wedding day. I had to wait in my car until it cleared up but the sun was out and shining before their first look! These two are high school sweethearts and were in the marching and jazz band together. Jason asked Kayleigh out three times over three years before she finally said yes on a band trip to Disneyland. Persistence pays off!

These two are the perfect couple because they embrace each other’s weirdness. It was so cute to photograph them together and get to know them. They are adorable. They even had rubber duckies as cake toppers. It fits their personalities perfectly. Here are a few of my favorite moments. Kayleigh and her bridesmaids all wore matching Chaco sandals. Jason and his mom had their special dance to Sunrise/Sunset from Fiddler of the Roof. They even acted out some of the scene! At the end of the night, they snuck off the have a private dance together under the full moon! They ended the evening with a bubble send off!

This venue, in Rye, Colorado was really beautiful. They even provided a horse and carriage for photos and the grand entrance. That makes my second wedding of the year with newlywed and horse portraits! Brush Canyon had amazing views of the mountains all around. There were so many lush, green areas on the property for photos too.
