Despite the pandemic and lockdowns, I was very busy last year with Colorado fall family photos. I got to photograph a whole bunch of families for their holiday cards and annual photos. I love seeing the same families year after year. But I also love getting to work with new families getting to be a small part of their story. I think a lot of families are spending more time together and growing closer, during the pandemic. It’s no wonder they want to document this moment in their lives! It’s so beautiful to be able to capture their connection.
Colorado Fall Family Photos
These four families were all so wonderful to work with! I photographed the Li family at Garden of the Gods. These two mamas love their son so much! The three of them were so much fun to work with. They were full of natural smiles the whole time! I love that they brought a bubble wand for their little one to entertain him. It’s always smart to have toys and bribes in case kiddos don’t feel comfortable in front of the camera. The Presti’s had their session at McKay Lake (and their outfit choices were on point!) with spectacular fall colors and we did the Toliuszis’s session at Mt. Falcon which is known more for mountain and forest views. I worked with the Taylor’s almost 10 years ago when I photographed their wedding. They adopted all three of their kids and this was their first family photo session all together at Fox Run Park!
I did all of these sessions at different locations, but they were all in the fall. Colorado has so much variety and so many beautiful locations to offer. It’s really a family photographer’s dream state! Whether you want mountain views, evergreen forests, or autumn leaves, I know the perfect photo location for every family. I work with each of my clients to plan the perfect session for them.
