Spruce Mountain Ranch Weddings
In November, I had 2 Winter Spruce Mountain Ranch Weddings back to back. Of course, for Elaine and Taylor this was more like a celebration since we had their elopement last year due to Covid. Luckily, even though they eloped in August (their original date) they got similar beautiful weather in November over a year later. Although this go around was missing their 2 furbabies, it was the perfect celebration with all their family and friends.
Elopement to Wedding Celebration
Elaine got ready in Ruby’s cottage near their venue Albert’s Lodge. Ironically, on their original elopement day, one of her dress straps broke. Between myself and another guest we came up with some thread and a needle. Probably a blessing in disguise as her dress was reinforced for the wedding day. Taylor was just as emotional and taken aback as the first day he saw her in it. It was so sweet.
Although it was technically winter at Spruce Mountain Ranch, it felt more like a warm fall day and it was reflected in the beautiful autumn décor. Lanterns, pumpkins and orange plaid linens made the space warm and the spice of life. Most of the color in the trees had fallen by this day, however, there was one lonely tree we made work for some amazing photos.
The wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch ends in Albert’s lodge which is perfect for warming up your guests in a grand, rustic setting. A lovely tribute was laid out and ready to Taylor’s mother. Elaine and her father were able to have their dance under the twinkle lights on the adjacent patio. There wasn’t a dry eye in the lodge after that. It was the perfect way to finalize their union and begin officially their journey together.
