Weddings at Spruce Mountain Ranch

For years, I’ve been photographing celebrations and weddings at Spruce Mountain Ranch. I have been there in every season as they are one of the few venues that hosts weddings all year round. I have photographed so many so that it is one of our preferred venues (with special pricing). It’s only 10 minutes away from both my and my associates’ house so there’s no worries about us making it to the venue. I will be at their bridal show, Wine & Nosh, in March and you should definitely come and see me! However today, I was elated to see and photograph their new addition room, the Aspen Room. It is such a great option for any weddings at Ponderosa. I’ve also photographed an indoor ceremony near the fireplace at the entrance as well and both have different benefits and beautiful settings. Jillian and Jeremy’s Spruce Mountain Ranch Aspen Room Wedding

Even on a beautiful May day, Jeremy and Jillian wanted to use this new space for their wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch. Thankfully, there are no worries fitting 120 people in this space and even hosting the couples’ communion. Pro Wedding Tip – if you are choosing communion for your day, plan on 1 hour minimum for your ceremony. You won’t be doing yourself any favors pretending it can be shorter. The beautiful ceremony arbor and floral arrangement perfectly accented the room. You can walk down the aisle through 2 grand entrance doors and see your guests and your new spouse for the first time. The Aspen Room also made it easier for the transition from the ceremony to cocktail hour and no changing the room over quickly for all the guests.

When booking this space, be sure to hire a seasoned skilled photographer. Indoor ceremonies can be difficult if your photographer doesn’t know OCF (off camera flash). Otherwise, all of your photos may be silhouette or blown out backgrounds. Of course, we captured so many beautiful moments for Jillian and Jeremy. Which is your favorite?
