Beverage Burros at Flying Horse Ranch Wedding

Whenever a movie portrays a wedding, it’s almost always set in a church or indoor Event Center. However, at least in Colorado, we rarely see these types of weddings. It probably has nothing to do with religion though, and more to do with the amazing views and beautiful venues our state has to offer. This flying horse ranch wedding is no exception, and is the epitome of weddings in the picturesque landscape of Colorado. Also, no cap, it has horse carriage rides, cattle and beverage burros at Flying Horse Ranch. This wedding trend has me with all the feels and it is a hit for your wedding guests.

Mountain View Colorado Barn Wedding

Flying horse ranch is located just outside of Colorado Springs and although it is east of the Front Range, it’s still has a view of Pikes Peak mountain as well as open Fields with Lush grass and Majestic horses. We are located only about 15 minutes away from this amazing venue which is why you will see quite a bit of weddings from us. What I believe is the biggest selling point for most engaged couples is the versatility of this wedding venue. There is a ballroom as well as multiple areas for getting ready or taking a break. There is a kitchen for your caterer, an outdoor patio for cocktail, a beautiful view in all directions and a perfectly renovated Barn. I have photographed dozens of weddings here and no two are alike as every wedding has a different preference on how to experience their day.

For Allie and Kyle, they chose an outdoor ceremony for their fall September wedding day. It was Blue Skies and Golden Light which beautifully lit their love. For the reception, they chose the ballroom to host all of their guests and enjoy the barn for dancing at the end of the night. Their beverage burros entertained their guests at cocktail hour and by the end it was hard to tell who the guests loved more. There were a few pickups in the day but quite honestly I bet you couldn’t tell what those were from these photos and I hope these memories are the ones that they remember and cherish throughout their marriage.
