Two Unique Proposals at Mesa Overlook
Recently, we had the pleasure of documenting two incredible proposals near Mesa Overlook and Garden of the Gods Resort. Both moments were as special as the location itself. The first proposal began with the ruse to take in a few views and selfies before dinner reservations. After a brief moment to admire the scenery, Gunnar asked Lucy the all-important question. It was a complete surprise for her and the joy was palpable. After the proposal, we spent about 30 minutes taking engagement photos with a different stunning view of Garden of the Gods Park as our backdrop.
The second proposal, Jason was showing his girlfriend, Savanna, the sights. Looking for more of a site seeing tour they also headed to the overlook. Usually, I try to advise the proposer to have their partner remove their sunglasses before the question. Of course, so you can see their reaction. However, this Garden of the Gods proposal had an even more enthusiastic reaction. Savanna’s face pulling down her sunglasses cannot be beat. The best part is that both of these locations are evergreen. Clearly, despite any season or weather, the location is beautiful year-round.
