Star Wars and Harry Potter Wedding
I love when couple’s embrace their interests and what brought them together into their wedding day. Many times it’s sports or mutual interests. For these two, they have more than even just 1 monumental theme that they wanted for their wedding day. Can you imagine having a Star Wars Harry Potter Wedding? They two did! I still can’t believe how they combined these two gigantic loves into 1 wedding. Especially when one takes place in space with technology and the other more castle, antiquated traditions and magic.
Themed Weddings
Now, Crooked Willow is more of a Harry Potter type venue. Not with the barn or ranch vibes, but the bricks, turret, garden are on brand for hosting a Harry Potter wedding. The details from the branded food, to potions and spells and then of course the golden snitches and wands went together very well. Dragon Eggs, Poly Juice, Fizzling Whizzlers, chocolate frogs and more. Incredibly, almost all the table decor was DIY by the couple.
Although it does seem like the themes were definitely Bridesmaids of Harry Potter against the Star Wars Groomsmen. The Groom’s Mandalorian helmet and Lego star Wars boutonniere’s were some of my favorite. Of course, each of them also had to have light sabers. Love the death star wedding day ring holder. At the end of the night, we were able to fit in a few light saber battle shots as well as Harry Potter/Jedi robes. You can’t let the night end without one of those to remember and enjoy the rest of your marriage.
